Passport: Make sure your passport has validity for months or more.

India stands to be one of the countries that the Thailand government allows to grant the Thailand Visa on Arrival. There are 19 different countries that have been enlisted eligible for Visa on Arrival and India is one of them. The Thailand Visa on Arrival facility had been discontinued due to the Covid crisis, but it has been renewed since October 1, 2021. Thus getting a Thailand Visa on Arrival for Indians in 2022 will not be a huge hassle.As per the new guidelines, Thailand grants Visa on Arrival for two weeks only, which is strictly restricted to tourists only. You have to apply for a visa on arrival at the airport.
To obtain the visa successfully, you will have to meet the requirements mentioned below.
Your trip is for tourism purposes only.
You must have an authentic passport with a minimum of 6 months validity.
Two passport sized photographs without any hats or sunglasses.
You must produce accommodation proof .
According to the Covid guidelines, you will attach a SHABA certificate with a valid SHA Plus hotel for a minimum of 7 days. This shall be applicable till the government discontinues the scheme.

Since Covid situation had hazardous impacts worldwide, the Thai government has introduced programs for tourists before they travel in the country.
Once you’ve been issued the Thailand visa on arrival, you will apply for entry in Thailand and go for the program designed for the quarantine.
Phuket and Samui Sandbox Program: This program is for individuals who are fully vaccinated against Covid. You should have stayed in India for at least 21 days or more. You must travel to Phuket without any transit in the capital Bangkok. If you match these conditions, you will stay in SHA+ hotel for at least 7 days before heading anywhere in Thailand.
Quarantine Program: This program is for those Vaccinated Indian travellers who would like to enter Bangkok. You must quarantine in a state-approved ASQ hotel for 7 days at your own expense. If you are unvaccinated, you must go for a mandatory quarantine in an ASQ hotel for a minimum of 10 days.
NOTE: If you have unvaccinated children with you, they will undergo a 10days quarantine along with the parents, regardless of the vaccination status of parents.
