Day 1 : Arrival at Chiang Mai Airport | Hotel Transfer & Leisure

Airport Pickup: Thailand Tourism’s tour representative will meet you at Chiang Mai International Airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Hotel Transfer: Once you reach the hotel, kindly show your IDs at the reception for a quick check in and proceed to your hotel room. Take time to unwind and refresh yourself.

Leisure: The rest of the day is free for leisure activity. You may go for a stroll to nearby markets or near Ping river. Enjoy a delicious Northern Thai meal at a restaurant and return to the hotel to catch a good night’s sleep.

Overnight stay in Chiang Mai hotel.

Day 2 : Chiang Mai Sightseeing Tour

Morning: Get ready for a pickup ride after having breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will explore the significant religious sites of Chiang Mai with the Gems of Northern Thailand package. Please dress modestly and carry a scarf/stole.

Chiang Mai Sightseeing: The excursion will take you to the following places:

• Wat Phra That Doi Suthep - Chiang Mai’s most significant religious site featuring Sukhothai and Burmese arts style and architecture.
• Wat Chedi Luang - A temple built with Lanna design and features a brick stupa; a whole home to the Emerald Buddha
• Wat Phra Singh - The temple has golden chedis and intricately decorated gates.

Chiang Mai Night Market - After the temple tour ends, you will be going to Chiang Mai Night market to experience the soul and vibes of the province.

Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3 : Transfer to Chiang Rai | White Temple (Wat Rong Khun)

Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and our representative will take you to Chiang Rai on a mountainous route. The duration of travel is around 3 to 3.5 hours.

Explore White Temple: En route you will stop by the ethereal White Temple (Wat Rong Khun). The temple features Thai Lanna and contemporary art.

Afternoon: Treat yourself with a nice lunch at a local restaurant before arriving at your hotel in Chiang Rai. Check in at the property and relax in your room.

Overnight stay in Chiang Rai.

Day 4 : Golden Triangle Visit + Blue Temple

Morning: Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel and get ready for more Chiang Rai exploration. Our tour representative will pick you up from the hotel.

Visit Blue Temple: First, you will visit the gorgeous Wat Rong Suea Ten (Blue Temple). The temple is adorned in striking blue and gold coloured hues with intricate designing. It also features statues of Naga serpents and yaksha guardians.

Golden Triangle: Where borders of Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar meet. You may enjoy a boating session at Mekong river (payable by you).

After lunch, you will return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5 : Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai Transfer & Departure

Morning: On the last day, say goodbye to Chiang Rai as we take you directly to Chiang Mai International Airport. From there, board your flight back home. We wish you a safe and happy journey. The 5 days Northern Thailand trip comes to an end.
